Joined the improvers' violin class today as my fellow absolute beginner was laid low - didn't too badly. I have an advantage in that I can read music already, so am just wrestling with the mechanics of the darn thing.
@mindella thanks! Actually, I meant to say in my commentary, I actually daringly put my camera down on the ground in the wet (none of this dangling it a few inches off the ground in a nambypamby kind of way) @rich57 would have been proud.
