Dave toddled off today to do his annual Christmas shop. He has his routine and always goes to Selfridges. Among the secret things he's got for me, he brought us back an early present - a couple of Tsaikka mulled wine glasses - a fantastic iconic design from 1957 by Timo Sarpeneva.
I made do with a trip to the organic stall and lunch at the Hornbeam Cafe - lovely veggie food, but boy are they verging on the shambolic there. You have to wait for ages - the poor woman who arrived only 5 mins after me was still waiting when I put my coat on to leave.
Popped into the Rose and Crown tonight to catch a bit of the Swingtime Serenaders with Peta Webb which was jolly.
