Nipped out to the park to have a wander, knowing I wouldn't get out of the house otherwise. Very dingy but not raining at the time (terrible floods out west), but there were plenty of puddles to play with before my camera battery died well before time. There is a small man right in the distance at the end of the avenue.
We are very lucky - we are just the two for Christmas so it is all relatively unstressful (apart from when we bicker a bit obviously), so today's preparations have amounted to wrapping Dave's Christmas presents - and will be making the cranberry sauce later - which, funnily enough, is exactly what I did this day last year. Although last year I also made trifle - we have decided against my speciality homemade trifle this year in the interests of trying to be not as piggy as we normally are ...
