From my walk the other day, two totally different modes of transport , it is only a little bridge and lorries tear up there to a small depot. Off Jersey for a few days. Will only have my phone but hoping to have some internet and still be able to post
Always loved photography, joined this for me and to improve my skills.
Finished working with children a couple of years ago. so more time

Ooh ! certainly slow on this bright and sunny Friday morning , A lovely stone bridge over the canal with the slow gliding canal boat on the still water --love it . Amazing how the bridge takes the weigh of all the heavy traffic above !! Have a great hols :)
That's lovely. We don't have canals up here in Lincs, but Wilts where I work during the week, is well known for them, just a shame I've started this project as we move into Autumn & Winter.
@brennieb I've done it a couple of times now down in Wilts and yes, it's so tranquil. I even enjoy the effort required to open the locks.
(Hope you don't mind me saying this, I notice that you don't 'tag' your photographs. By putting tags on them it can open them up to other people seeing them? It's totally free flow, so you tag each picture with whatever you want. For this photograph, for example, you could use;
"Canal Boat" (If a saying, such as Black and White you need to wrap all the words in quotation marks)
Outdoor
Canal
Slow
Water
Bridge
DMC (your camera)
If you go to the tags area http://365project.org/tags and type at the bottom say for example 'canal boat' then your photograph would be there, and all other canal boat photos too.) Similarly, you could put in DMC and you'd see all the photographs taken with the same camera as yours (if of course they've tagged it) Here's what 'Canal Boat' comes up with http://365project.org/tags/canal%20boat
if you have thought about it and don't want to do it - then sorry for taking up 5 minutes of your time as you've read this :-)
How helpful people are on this site Brenda! I think you are getting so good at your photos too, great idea to catch the speedy blurr of the wagon & the slow gentle speed of the canal boat. Have fun in Jersey!
