“Bleeding Heart – Dicentra Spectabilis”

We came across this while out and about looking for landscaping options and I found it to be quite alluring and interesting. I ended up being overruled and this plant stayed on the gardener’s shelf but we did get some other pretty interesting plants. I suppose if the little flowery heart thingies would have lasted all summer I would have had a better shot at bringing them home but lost the battle since they only flower in the spring. Still pretty interesting, made for a photo opportunity because of its uniqueness and I did get my way with other plants – compromise is a beautiful thing. [5 May 2017]

~ Paul Kagame
Ahh... the Bleeding Heart - one of my favorites. Great POV - I like how you have filled the frame with this beauty.

They are wonderful plants - so resilient and tough. They grow absolutely everywhere and look pretty even without flowers.
