“Closing Out Another Year…”

Hard to believe that we are a mere few hours away from the close of 2017 – I always, just like everyone else – ask the age old question of where the time has gone. Wow, almost 2018 and almost time to open another chapter of photos and adventures – I appreciate each and every person who like my photos, take the time to comment on them and otherwise just keep me motivated. I am not a big resolution guy but I’ve deemed that this will be the year that I finally write a book. It isn’t going to be a novel of epic proportions by any stretch of the imagination but rather a labor of love; something dedicated to our children and grandchildren. I’ll keep you updated along the way and do my best not to disappoint.

This is a collection of photos which never made it to the pages of my album this year. A look down the railroad tracks, a rustic rural setting, a little geek gone wild, fun with candy in the Big Apple, our grandchildren and a random street minstrel. [31 December 2017]

“We must welcome the future, remembering that soon it will be the past; and we must respect the past, remembering that it was once all that was humanly possible.”
~ George Santayana
That’s a great collage! Time really does go speeding by so no time like the present to do what we want to do. Definitely write your book! All the best in the New Year!

Super collage Brett. And I look forward to hearing your progress in your book writing. As they say, '...don't put off 'til tomorrow what you can do today'.
