“Balthasar, Melchior and Gaspar”

This weekend marks the celebration of the feast of the Epiphany when the three wise men visited the child who lay in the manger. No one can really agree on the timeline of their visit but visit they did and that is the important aspect to take away; just a quiet reflection on the day. [7 January 2018]

“Wise men speak because they have something to say; Fools because they have to say something.”
~ Plato
A beautiful and sombre shot of this momentous occasion!
Well done!

Nice, I like the smile on Joseph's face. It's often said they took 2 years to arrive and Jesus would have been a toddler by then. The timing isn't so relevant to me as the fact of their visit and its symbolism though.
