“Get Pushed - Low Key Black and White”

My challenge for the Get Pushed 287 Challenge was issued by Liana @kiwinanna; the challenge which she issued for the current Get Pushed 285 was as follows:

“How about trying a low key black and white technique - your subject choice.”

The challenge of black and white photography itself is a bit foreign to me because I generally rely on colors for my photos and always do my best to emphasize color. Add in the other dimension of low light and it was like a double whammy. I tried several subjects but still life was what I felt worked best for me and keeping it simple was another goal. @kiwinanna - Submitted for your approval Liane, I hope that this meets the expectations of your challenge this week. I apologize for submitting mine to you mid-week but it was a brutally busy week for some reason. Hope you have had success with it.

Looks great on black. Love the sense of something ending. Forlorn.
