this is not an abstract

My get-pushed challenge this week was to do a (colourful) abstract. I really struggle with abstracts! I don't really know how to approach the task. This is my 2nd attempt and to be truthful - neither really cut the mustard!!

Wow Brigette, I might have trouble with that abstract idea as well! Were you allowed to do some post editing? The deep colors are certainly beautiful...it would look gorgeous in my dining room!

@brigette Brigette, beautiful, but not really abstract. There is free software called Pixlr that would make this into an abstract. Why don't you try it?

@Weezilou this does have 'some' post editing. not much though - and i took it on my iPhone. I just couldn't really find any inspiration!

A nice image - what about slowing the shutter speed and zooming in (or out) on the image to give it some abstract movement?

Hi Brigette. I was going to ask you to do another abstract as you struggled with this last week, but then I thought that might be a little mean!
You have a really varied repertoire of shots so I was thinking of something a little different. How about interpreting the word "Anticipation" in visual terms.
