Dig

Hot Water Beach is another big attraction on the Coromandel. Hot springs run under this beach... and people flock to dig a little pool to lie in. The water can be scorching hot!
Unfortunately cooling off in the surf can be a little dangerous as there are many rips... a few people die in the water here each year.
