My boy lost his 60m race. His technique wasn't the best and when he realised that he was in about fifth place, he gave up and stopped trying. But when he did the relay with his three other friends, they romped home in first place. Yay. His school won last year and they really wanted to retain the title but alas, it wasn't to be. They lost by one measly point :(
