My son is 14 today. He asked for pancakes in a roundabout way yesterday so I decided to do some this morning for the boys. Cookie actually quite likes helping in the kitchen - especially when it's for making something sweet and tasty so he was happy to help with the whisking and stirring of the mixture.
One of his birthday presents was a sodastream which he asked for. He's however just been told that he can't carbonate apple juice. No siree...it can only carbonate water. I told him that he can have fizzy ribena, or vimto or other cordial based drinks but he's not happy. Looks like it's on it's way back to Argos!
We later went on to TGI's for a birthday dinner and ate way too much food. Overall a lovely day spending it with family.
