St. David's Day. by brumbe

St. David's Day.

photo 423
This photo is to prove that I do actually listen to my Lovely Assistant as she is giving history lessons to me while shopping in Target on a Friday Night. St. David is the Patron Saint of Wales who died in the sixth century on March 1st. She went out and bought us all daffodils to celebrate. Of course I did not get them until the second and then photographed this one outside her house. I am glad that my mother choses to celebrate our Welsh Heritage each year, even though there are so many other heritages that get so much more attention over here in America. Luckily, I live in the Philadelphia area which has loads of towns with Welsh names and my mothers ancestors came to when leaving Wales.
