Yup, that's nature. Airplanes are grounded in Europe for 5 days, already. They fear that the recovery of the European economy will just be reversed again by this event.
Bruni, thank you for your comments on my portraits! they are very diffferent from each other aren't they? kinda lets you see all sides of me! And this photo is awe inspiring. It is crazy what nature can do!
bruni, thanks a lot for sharing this very timely informative photos! i feel for those who have been badly affected by this natural disaster...and pray for their safety.
Since I spend so much time looking through photos here and passing up evenings watching television, this is the first image I've seen of the volcanic activity! Pretty stunning and shocking how it's disrupting flights!
Thanks for your note; interesting to read you once lived in Chicago. We're going there in early May to see our daughters who live there now.

HA HA HA HA, What I say is the (almighty man) has the audacity to think he/we are in control of things. Then things like this happens and I believe it is one way to know whom is REALLY in control, The ALMIGHTY GOD. And some people try to kick Him out of the government and other places, I am just glad he does hold back the ability He has and continues to shower us with His great undeserved Love.
