At home

When I opened the door to our bedroom I felt something swooping over my head. here was this little gold finch trying desperately to get out. he flew in the room through one window that was open only just a touch and coudn't get out. so i opened another one real wide as you can see on the picture to let him fly away. also included two little tame bunny rabits the kids have at my niece's house.
He must have been so glad for you to let him out! I wonder how long he had been stuck in there?

I had to laugh at what you wrote about Dill on the table! He *WAS* trying to be the centerpiece until his tail was about to catch on fire! He was oblivious to his surroundings! We were out in the kitchen when we looked over and saw this, and I couldn't get to my camera fast enough! He's such a funny cat!

And to you, welcome home! What a treat to be welcomed by this little finch...a ready-made photo opportunity! And you know we have our circle who love a good bunny picture; thanks for the double dose!

Thanks for letting me know! I never look at Yahoo unless someone suggests I look, so thanks! Will write you a note from there when I'm back from our morning walk!

Poor little bird -- he had a real adventure to go tell his bird friends about. I wonder who was more surprised -- YOU or the bird ......lol
