Quite an experience

we combined two interesting activities which was a ride over the Mungstener bridge which connects Remscheid to Solingen. First i was afraid to go on it when i saw the train (which by the way is only allowed to go over the bridge at 5 km per hour) but i thought i better try it as it must be quite interesting to take pictures from way up there. on the same day ticket we took another train again to go Wuppertal to ride the "Schwebebahn" it's like a streetcar hanging upside down from the wheels. Apparently China is contemplating to build one of these as their streets are getting too crowded and they claim it will be THE FIRST ONE IN THE WORLD they don't know that Germany has one already for almost 100 years ....the one we are going to take a ride on. we sat right behind the conductor and had the best view. on the platform while waiting for the arrival of the car i went to the very beginning of the platform where when you look straight down there is nothing because the train if we shall call it hangs in the air. That's where i took picture number 1... picture #3 you see the river the Wupper from where the town got it's name. .this vehicle takes you all over the town by following the river.....
Oh, wow! I think I'd have been petrified to get on that train! But what great shots you got!

And with only 5 km/ hour you really suffer through all of it. Great shots and you are brave, Bruni.
