I took these pictures starting with the picture on the left top here you see how the climbing roses have reached the second floor level of our home ...deck railing...where you see two different climbing roses. they are not in great abundance anymore after the neglect they haven taken when we were 6 weeks on vacation... the first climber is of a lovely pink color and further back you can just make out the second one ..a more orangey looking rose. the following four pictures were taken at intervals of days until you come to the last on the right were the buds you saw before are now in full bloom and where I'm holding the empty stem as all the pedals of the original rose have fallen off. btw we had to string a temporary line up to the ceiling of the deck as the roses are shooting up so high and the farthest orange one is already wrapped round the deck pole.
Such beautiful roses, and I love the progression. Nicely done!
Re my hydrants, most of them so far are from around where I live, but a few are from the city, and one is down the street from my marina back home. I just stop for a shot whenever I find one that's shaped or colored differently, or when I find one with character. And thanks for your comment!
Thank you SO much for all of the comments! I really appreciate it. Your collages really are stunning. It's definitely a strength you possess! I love how some of the photos are slightly off-set. Great collage and those are beautiful roses!
Nicely done Bruni, how beautiful to have a climbing rose bush reaching all the way to the second floor of your home it must be stunning from outside!!!!
