This was given to me as a present by one of my girlfriends..today it fell of the suctions cup..i had it hanging in a window where I could see it every day. it's broken now...so I took a picture of it to remember for ever.
Sometimes photos are all we have to remember special times...sorry about your beautiful gift! Yes, Bruni, everything is now in order for the trip. One of our two-week stays had to be reselected, but we're very pleased that we'll be in the south of France for Christmas and New Years. I'm packing very carefully and not taking much...just want to be sure I really like what I take along! Back in July I ran out of time to keep up a blog, too. We had a lot of visitors and my time was no longer my own. Now with this trip, I'll have to let something go! I hope to just keep up on 365 and still spend full days sight seeing since that's what we're traveling for. It would be foolish to be on the computer a lot! I'll leave notes as often as I can...I do enjoy this community, and they've been awfully nice to both of us! I don't leave for another week, so I'll write as time allows. I always enjoy hearing from you!
At least it was the memento that broke and not the friendship. It was a sweet gift that you were able to enjoy, but you will have it saved in your memories and your photos.
