Today would have been my dear sister's birthday. It's only been about 2 weeks since she passed away. I miss terribly not being able to pick up the phone and asking her how she is doing today. Thea has been ill for the last 2 to 3 years of her life. She was on a vacation visiting her 2 daughters in Chicago when she became quite sick and was never able to return home to Tuscon AZ. I will call my nieces a little later and give them my love..it must be hard for them especially today..
It is these days that make it so hard when you have recently lost a close one. This is a great picture in her memory, love the shoes and socks! Sending thoughts your way bruni.
They say time heals, but it does take time. I lost my mum about 17 months ago , and I still miss her and think about her most days. So my thoughts are with you Bruni during this early stage x
What a beautiful photo to remember her by. But I'm sorry to hear about what happened. It's very hard remembering not to pick up the phone and call them, as you said. I still have days like this for my Grandma that I lost last year.

Bruni, my heart goes out to you & Thea's daughters. One of my aunts almost always calls me either on or near my father's birthday and it means so much to me. I know it will for them, too. Hugs! I never had a sister to experience that bond, but from what I have observed it is very special and I know you miss her dearly. I'm so glad you have this adorably fabulous photo of the two of you. big bear hugs for the whole day!!!
it's a sweet picture. My mother used to dress my younger sister and I alike and I hated it because she usually let Kimmy pic the dresses out. 8 year olds do not like the same things as 4 year olds. Of course, I kind of like the pictures now. Hugs for you.

@starfish I don't quite understand your question..are you asking ..then how did you do it? .meaning how I took the picture of my my sister?? this is and old picture when we were kids. i just uploaded it as a contribute.
