OMG WHAT IS THIS

I asked myself when I saw this black spot in the tree. go get the camera Bruni before whatever it is moves away.. well you're right its a squirrel caught in a downpour. I haven't seen anything like this before. it used his tail trying to cover up his body and head..ony the ears are sticking out. well I had the picture for today.
I don't know but it is cool

I'm with Rick. I also have never seen this before. I often wondered what the deer to in hard rain. Just stand there and take it I guess lol.

Some of the best shots are the ones that "just happen." Very interesting shot; hope the thing warmed up. Around here, most squirrels have dens in the ground.

That's cool.....that is the second shot I have seen of a squirrel covering himself. First one was from a friend of mine from 2 winters ago here in New Jersey http://www.earthshots.org/2011/06/snowy-squirrel-by-ray-yeager/
