Credit due to my daughter Grace who took some pictures on her Scandinavian cruise especially for me so I can share them with you.
this is a church in St. Petersburg Russia. she told me its called the Church of the spilt Blood.
What a gorgeous building. It has always been a dream of mine to visit Russia someday. I don't know if it will ever happen, but every time I see a shot like this the dream is lit anew.
How absolutely gorgeous, Bruni! What a wonderful cruise that would be to see that part of the world! We want to take the same trip one day, but a summer cruise would take the place of our time in Lunenburg, and you know how we love it here! So nice to see you again...I must try to keep up for awhile; I do enjoy this site so much!
I would like to know, where your daughter were "cruising" as you said ?
You said in Scandinavian, did she visit Russia from Finland or some other Scandinavian country? I am curious to see her photos :)
I have also photos from this church, what was built on the site where Tsar Alexander II was assassinated and was dedicated in his memory. I was there a couple of days with my daughter, we slept nights in the cruiser and visited the city during days.
