Happy travelling. we had an uneventful drive until we came close to our destination where we were stuck for way over one hour ..a tractor trailer had driven into another vehicle..the one you see on the tow truck..the whole left side was demolished. we couldn't understand why we were held up for such a long time when the traffic on the other side of the road kept coming. well it turned out that there was another accident just within 100 meters from us further down the road. another tractor trailer was turned over. when the road finally was cleared we shortly after arrived at our destination..the Wyndham Skyline Tower Resort in Atlantic City, NJ.
btw. my girlfriend was so nice and lend me her computer after she heard that Hans forgot to take the power cord along for my laptop. so now I'm back in business again and I will be able to post every day.
Sadly- those kinds of accidents happen rather frequently on our highways. Enjoy your stay "down the shore" (which is how they say going to the beach in my home state!)
What a great shot, Bruni. Probably the only good thing that came out of your long wait. Hope that nobody was badly hurt . . vehicles can always be replaced. Hoping you have (had) a SAFE trip.
