Saw this display at Lowes and I'm not sure if that yellow sign is the tag..111. is that the price or the item number..will have to check if I get back to the store before Halooween. I picket up a hanging basket for 50 cents..a few nice flowers still in bloom so I hang it up in front of the house... today rain again..glad we got the "tree people in yesterday"
Wow-looks like that's the price of the blow up Halloween decoration! Add the electricity to run it on top of the purchase price and you've got to have money to own one of those!! Clever photo though (and a lot less expensive than owning the original!)
@olivetreeann yes you're right about that and if its a blown up one I see too many of those ruined in a short time and lying flat on the ground. couldn't resist taking a picture of it though.
@gijsje oh lucky you..I get tired of opening the doors to the kids especially when it is a cool and wet night..we get about 50 kids or so coming for trick or treats. when I think of all the candies they get it cringes me...all that sugar...
Read Beb. St Maarten was a Holy bishop of the past like Sinterklaas
Do the have it in the North part of Germany? Because that`s where we celebrate it in our country ( Groningen) and they are adjacent .
@pyrrhula the lantern somehow I remember when I was a child..we carried lanterns and were singing..but I don't remember when it was and if we got treats from people.. I know we didn't go from house to house. @gijsje pls. read my comment to Pyrrhula.
I`m with you Bruni , but for other reasons. I did take my chair to the frontdoor and sit there till it`s over. What I don`tlike about it it that to days children are not happy anymore with just an apple or a sweet,Collecting become grab and snatch How more the better,
I`ve lost my pleasure in it
@pyrrhula Pyrhulla that's too bad when we can't enjoy giving out the treats anymore because of their behavior...sofar the kids have been quite polite and always said thank you...so I can't complain....
We have St. Maarten (11 th november). We get children with (Chinese) lanterns, singing songs and just like "your" kids - hoping to get sweets.
