13 years ago we watched the birth of our granddaughter Shayelynne. It's unbelieable how fast the time has past. it made us so happy that Hans's daughter Debbi and Shayely came over to spend a lovely afternoon with us. couldn't resist taking the birthday girl's picture.
She is so pretty! What a beautiful smile. Of course you must take a picture on the first year of her being a teenager! Birthday greetings (belated) and may the year be full of fun!
Time just flies doesn't it? My "baby" niece j ust turned 16. Where does the time go? I miss those days of having her over, baking cookies, watching kiddie movies, having her play in the bathtub until I had to let the water out just to get her out of it, and sleeping with her when she was scared. Such a sweet time when we are their "favorite people" and they look up to us so much. Fortunately, my niece stil likes many of the kiddie things we did.. puppet shows from time to time, making the train cake at Christmas, sleepovers, and kiddie movies.
