Good morning everyone - I have news

This morning shortly after 6 am this is what greeted me by looking through my bedroom window into the neibgor's yard. a beautiful sunburst with the light coming cascading like a waterfall.
Yesterday afternoon I was confirmed with a sciatica nerve problem arising from a disc in my back..the rest you all know. since I mentioned that the pain has gotten so much less the doctor advised me to give it some more time before he would recommend an operation. somewhere on the internet I read that about 90% of sciatica sufferers don't require the operation...so let me hope to be one of them.
Good to hear you have a diagnosis and a positive outlook. Lovely view to start your day.

@robv Thank you so much Robert..yes it's best to be positive..time will tell.

I am keeping my fingers crossed and you in my prayers. I hope and Oprah that you should not require an operation. Please take care of yourself. Such a beautiful view to start your day..

Well, this is such a common problem for people, and I must say, MSM will do so much for you to alleviate the pain. I live by it for the last 6 years. I have two partially heniated discs, and have not had surgery as recommended. My pain has disappeared, so much better than surgery. I refer to a site for you to look at. http://www.nwhealthsolutions.com/backpain.htm

beautiful view; knowing what the cause is helps; hopefully you will be in the 90%

Glad you got a diagnosis but like you, I would definitely steer clear of surgery.

@digitalrn Rick I thank you for comment and the link..MSM is known to me as I took it with a few other items like Glucosamin Sulate, MicroLactin, Shark Cartilage but I gave up taking it when I was diagnosed with atrial fibrilllation.. I don't like taking drugs unless I absolutely have to rather go with natural remedies..when my colesterol was so high I bought Policosanol and it worked so fast to bring it down. my doctor shook his head when I told him I went off the drugs he prescribed.

what a beautiful sight to wake up to, and how can it fail to give you anything but hope and joy? i am so happy to read you most likely will not need to a back operation. have read so many positive things regarding MSM and Glucosamin - we used to give the latter to our dogs, in fact, who both had arthritis. will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers, Bruni.

What a gorgeous photo, Bruni. I love the light coming through the trees. You have a gorgeous view. I am glad that you know what it causing your pain and hope you are one that does not need surgery. You are a tough cookie. I wish I was not on the meds I am but have tried and at the lowest dose I can be. May have to see if my husband can take what you did to lower his cholesterol. He has lost 20 pounds on his diet so far. Off to see about shoes and insoles or just insoles for the shoes he owns this weekend. Supposed to be 103 tomorrow and 100 on Sunday. HOT days here.

@bruni Totally understand, must always be careful. That is the one thing about the MSM, there are virtually no know negative side effects. I have literally stopped taking medication for heartburn, just overall it has been a God send.

yes Louise I was in terrible pain when it started May 2nd.. only standing up and moving my leg could I spend a few minutes of and on on 365, sitting was murder..and a few days later Hans and I drove to Orlando..our vacation was booked way in advance and of course all paid for..those 2 days in the car I wouldn't want to do again under the circumstances and usually I enjoy going by car..we went once to West Virgina by car and enjoyed every minute of the ride.
I'm so glad that you're back on here again..have missed you..
