Seagull by bruni

Seagull

Although we're so close to the lake we hardly ever see a seagull in front of our door. spotted this in the middle of the road, stepped our on the deck and took it's picture. if you like please see my collage in album Nature at it's best for more seagull pictures.
thank you for viewing and for your comments both are very much appreciated.

@darsphotos Thank you Darlene..no peek at the other gull pictures in album 2? a squirrel is what made me go outside to take a photo and then came this gull and took his spot.
coming back to you..how are you doing? when is your appointment with our old doctor? I never understand the health care in the US. here everything is paid for by the government. I can choose any doctor I like to see and if needbe he sends me to a specialist..all my meds are free and since I'm retired our drugstore where we go to doesn't even charge for their fees. feels funny going in to pick up your meds and leave without paying anything..and boy am I glad one of my heart meds wasn't covered at first and for a 3 month supply I had to pay over $340.00 (or I had to take wafarin which didn't agree with me). I did this for over one year but now it's approved and I get it free of charge.

Nice capture! We live some six miles from the coast and the Seagulls are a good weather warning for us.

@bruni Hi Bruni. I am on here very little right now. Funny that a squirrel made you go outside to take a photo and you came back with such a great shot of this gull.
I am doing ok and need to get into one of the Ophthalmologists, either the one I have been seeing or the one that I saw before him. I do not have an appt for 4 weeks with the new Dr and did not make an appt with the old one today as I have another appt tomorrow that ended up getting cancelled late today so will call in the morning and see if I can get in on Thursday to one or the other. The insurance here varies from insurance company to insurance company and then based on where you work. Our insurance is through my husbands work so we have to pay for it and pick what works best for us. The company selects what they want to cover and how much they will cover. It can be really confusing and really expensive. Don't you pay 1/2 your wages when you are working for medical insurance? We do not pay a lot for the insurance but we pay for all co-pays and a lot to go to the hospital or ER and for testing. If we need an MRI it will cost us about $1,000. Our meds are not that expensive but add up for the two of us. Would be really nice to not have to pay for meds. We would have more money for food. I am glad your heart med is now covered. We have meds that have $40 co-pay per month. Not many though but $200 for all of our meds per month right now and for most of our lives. Will help when we reach the age of 62 to get Social Security for me in 5 years and Medicare. Dan will get his later I think unless our government changes the retirement age and makes it older. I take warfarin for the rest of my life and had a hard time at first but ok now. I do not like this medication as there are side effects the longer one takes it. It is a lot different living in Canada and living here as far as health care goes. Take care, Bruni.
