I must be getting better. today I got into the car to drive just a few blocks to a small shopping plaza. (my first time behind the steering wheel since Oct. 18th). the sun had come out around 2 pm today and I bundled up warm and parked in the plaza. did some shopping for odds and ends we forgot the other day, also saw some bargains..so I carried eveything to the car and left it parked where it wasto do a bit of walking..kind of window shopping, went into a few more stores just to browse around and when I finally got home Hans was frantic as I forgot to take my cell phone along and he was worried when I after more than two hours hadn't returned...good sign on my part I think..looks like I get a bit of stemina back. on the walk back to the car I saw it was close to sundown and I had better head home. I took this picture across the parking lot..the houses across the street are on a bit of a hill.
What a pretty shot, Bruni. Love the sky. Glad you are feeling better. You need to remember your cell phone next time so Hans can check on you. Sounds like a fun time out shopping. Sure wish I could drive and get out on my own sometimes.
You broke curfew! Same shame! Lol! I have not seen your posts to know what you are recovering from...but whatever it is, it sounds like you are doing well. Keep on with the recovery!

I can give you the dates where I explained what's going on whichare Oct 18, 21st and Oct.31 but if you looke at November 11th picture it tells you in a nutshell...I have atrial fibrilation. it started slowly in November 2009 and progressed over the following years..been on heart medication for years now and was waiting for more than 1 1/2 to get the ablation procedure done..Oct. 19th home the next day. feeling not too bad but then I had another episode e I had to be cardioverted back to normal rythm..four days later it happened again..another trip to the ER ..this time they tried 3 times but it didn't work so I was admitted into the hospital...make a long story short..stayed 1 week with so many complications....now I'm home recuperating..change in medication..it's a slow process but every day I feel a bit better....
my computer is acting up..can't fill in words or delete some ..always loose the next word when I make a correction.. so please read between the lines. when I said it took 1 1/2 I meant to say 1 1/2 year on the waiting list for the ablation...finally I had it done..have to stay on the heart med for 3 month before they wean me off and then they'll find out if the ablation worked... reason for the procedure was to get off all meds as they have too many side effects of which I found out about the blood thinner I'm an it effected my swallowing...which is so bad. I lost over 10 pounds in the 7 day stay at the hospital due to not being able to swallow properly... ( and I must admit the food in the cardio unit was cooked so blaw..no salt or spices...and only half cooked...so too hard for me to chew and swallow.... oh boy now it turned to a way too long story.
@bruni oh, Bruni ...I am so sorry you have had all these issues! Bless you....hang n there! And. Can relate to mistyping things because half the time I mess up my message when my iPad tablet autocorrects my words. Anyway, I am sure you so enjoyed getting out for a few hours after all you have been through! Keep on with the rest and recovery!
Very pretty! So glad to see you're feeling more and more like your self! You had major surgery with some complications so it's not surprising it's taking time to get back to 100%. Glad you were able to have some fun shopping and catch a lovely sunset as well!
