While browsing the mall yesterday afternoon Grace and I went into a showroom packed with people who were inspecting a new Telsa S model. they had two on display. the white one you see here and a red one. the car is a total battery operated vehicle. you can re-charge the battery at home which they say takes about 6 hours. there are already a few stations around and a lot more will be available in the near future (from what they say) at a stations it only takes about 1/2 hour to charge up the battery. the car is suppose to go a increditable distance for about $10.00 and remember hardly any maintenance and of course you save money on oil changes as it doesn't require any oil.. now who wouldn't want to own one of these terrific and good looking vehicles. hey, I should be a salesperson for this company,.. ha ha..

ummmm ... you did not mention the price ... LOL ... it you can afford one, then you really don't need great mileage .... although it is an incredible car. There is one in my hometown.
@dlaxton Dave thanks for dropping by. yes if I could afford one you're so right I wouldn't worry that much about mileage, we just heard someone saying oh boy $80,000. not sure if they talked about the price of the vehicle. anyway it's a little rich for my pocketbook.

Nice car but bet it is expensive. At the price of gasoline going up almost daily again, I have no idea what we will do. Would be cool to have a new car though. Maybe once we win the lottery.
@darsphotos Well Darlene that is exactly what we did when we won the lottery oh so many years ago. we had to share it with 6 other people. at that time it was called Lotterio. it was not the big one so we only got $11,000.00. Hans bought a van and a few days later a drunk driver smashed into it. was never the same again.
@bruni I did not know you won a lottery, Bruni. How sad that the van was smashed into and never the same. I hope Hans was ok after the accident. We have had some of that bad luck with a couple of cars that we bought over the years. There are people that should never get behind the wheel, especially when they have been drinking. Hope you are doing well. Been having pain in my left shoulder/arm and hand so taking it slow and resting as typing hurts as does usage. It has been almost a month now so may have to take a trip to my Dr.
