You can see through the tree

Right across from Lake Drive is a piece of land owned by the town. in the summer people from Toronto and other areas park their cars, trucks and boat trailers there. they launch their boat at the canal (so far free of charge). when I drove by on my photo shoot, I saw a brand new sign put up stating that this will be a future parking lot where you`ll have to pay. pretty dear prices too.
there is no parking allowed on the streets. I hope they save this lovely tree.
Its a beautiful tree. Katharine

Too bad this beautiful area will be a parking lot. It looks more like a park, and you have captured a lovely enchanting winter scene. I especially like how you caught the tree with its branches sprawled across the whole area. It's a fav for sure!!

Oooooh... Beautiful shot, Bruni! I like this without cars, boats, boat trailers, etc. This is so pretty. The snow covered ground and the snow on the branches. Well done :)

Well this seems to be happening more and more with the need increasing for parking space

Oh, and as an ace account you can find out who your second fav is by clicking on "statistics" on the right hand column. It will show you the person's icon and their @tag.

@olivetreeann Ann, I tried. went into my statistics. found were it said last 24 hours or last 7 days..I can`t even find my picture in there.didn`t see anything resembling an icon ..tags yes but, those are the ones I used. If this is not what you had in mind, can you steer me in the right direction.

When you're on the "picture page" on the right side just under the thumbnails of your last 6 or 7 pictures, listed below and underneath the # of views, # of comments, etc. you'll see the exif info, sizes, privacy and then statistics- right click on the word "view" and it will bring you to a page with a graph charting the activity on your photo. Below the graph, the pictures of all the folks who commented on your shot show up on the left side. On the right side you'll see the picture of those who've fav'd it as well as their @tag. I hope that's a little bit clearer.
