No need to apologize, Bruni. We do what we can, and what we can't do probably doesn't need doing. Take care of the things that matter. Is your husband on the airplane as it takes off? Sorry you have to be without him for so long. Not an easy thing.
Life gets busy, and I for one have run into a busy period and I have found it impossible to keep up lately. I know before it bothered me to no end if I couldn't get to all my posting and comments, but I have come to realize that life goes on if you miss a few.
@mbemis Mannie, thanks for your nice comment. he is working for former customers I call them. he has done work for them over the years and when they moved 1 1/2 hour drive away, they still call him when they need something done or need some advise. so right now he is doing a bit of a renovation and putting up a second addition to what years ago used to be their cottage, today it's their permanent home. he and his partner stay for a week's work, come home for the weekend and go back up there again the following week and so forth. although he is retired, he loves it when people call him back. he worked on three of their houses they own here in our town over. and what keeps me busy is finding new tenants for our apartment. a lot of extra work for me with interviewing people and showing the place, a lot of e-mailing back and forth with them. it's not easy to find the right person or persons when the apartment is in your own home.
