Lamp post by bruni

Lamp post

Yesterday, Sunday we were at the Beaches in Toronto. once we found a shady parking spot we started walking down to the beach area by taking one of the many side roads. Grace pointed out a lamp post (see picture two). it was totally overgrown and hardly recognizable. the insert is a picture where you can actually see the lampshade. this was the only post that was overgrown with a creeper of some sort.
Those vines can really take over. We have a parasite called kudzu in the South that will cover anything and everything!

Great shot, Bruni! Climbing plants are insane like that. They take over whatever they can. I like the comparison shot you took.

It's pretty amazing how those vines can completely overgrow something so tall! Nice collage!

I thought it was kudzu at first, but didn't think it had made it up north, especially to Toronto. It does look like it could take over. Nice captures and collage to show it.

Love your collage and what an interesting find. A wonderful shot, Bruni. How did you do this collage?

@darsphotos Darlene I took the three pictures and clicked on collage in Picasa.. so easy. when it was done, I went into my application Smart Photo Editor and uploaded the collage and picked out a frame for it. easy as pie. thank you for your comment and question.

@darsphotos Sorry, Darlene...correction.. the application I used this time was not Smart Photo Editor but Photo Scape.

@bruni Thank you, Bruni. I will have to try that. Worked great to show the closeup. It is a great idea for distance and to bring something closeup for us to see on a post.
