A view from the hotel

The rain has come down in buckets and many streets were flooded. it started Sunday aternoon and continued all night until 3.30 pm today I took this picture after it had cleared up a bit. a view from our suite. we are on the 9th floor facing the ocean towards the malecon. you also see the empty lot belonging to the town. a future entertainment project is in the cards.

The town is all situated around the bay so either boats or swimmers must have had a bit of importance! Curse about the rain - what can you do in the rain except take photos!

Sorry to hear about the rain, but this place looks fabulous even in the rain. Love how you caught the gathering of palms against the misty background. Fav for me. Sigh....wish I was there.
