I woke up to this beautiful sunrise and had to go quickly to get the camera. It was still cool this morning, but the temperature slowly went up into the lower 40 F. As we had to pick up some papers from our chartered accountant in Toronto, we thought it would be nice to go for a drive this morning. On our way back, we stopped at a mall in Toronto to start looking for a gown for me to wear at the wedding. I was so lucky, the first store we went into had a dress I fell in love with. I thought maybe I'm on a streak, so we also tried to find something for our granddaughter, Britney as her bridal shower is coming up in May. We did. So all in all we had a nice day.
Love to see what you chose for your dress? You could hang on a hanger and shoot it if you don't want to be inside! Lovely misty morning colours to start this good day!
Beautiful sunrise. I'm typing these words on the 1st of April. The weather is very bad today. Wish I could let you hear the sound of rain and hail against my windows ;-)
Wow, this is absolutely beautiful. So I take it your granddaughter is getting married. When is the big day? I haven't been to a wedding for so long. How exciting! Be sure to post a photo of your dress.
Carole I knew about the wedding date for a long time, July 18th, but had to wait till the Spring collection came out. Unfortunately I've such a difficult time finding a dress that fits. I'm so bony, lost another 10 pounds when I was hospitalized with a crazy bladder infection. The doctor prescribed antibiotics. the first two pills I took made me so sick, I couldn't hold anything down. the second ones were even worse. (this was not my family doctor, he was on vacation). due to not keeping any fluid down, I never took my heart medication and one pill per day for my swallowing problem. my body almost shut down and Hans called the paramedics. one week sick at home and one week in the hospital. my heart was ok though and my blood pressure came down to normal, only I couldn't swallow any of the hospital foods until the last days. it took that long for my medication to kick in, the one I take for my oesophagus.
I was home December 19th, just before Christmas. the dress requires some alterations, but I've to find the right shoes first.

Good luck with the wedding plans
