Mrs. Robin is guarding her nest

Years a go we had a robin nest underneath the roof of one of our garden sheds. this time we saw one on top of a downspout elbow. it's not the best of places as it's right underneath more or less of our side door entrance and every time we go outside, she seems to be ok with it, but coming back in, she flies away. will be interesting to see what happens when she has young ones.
Great shot of the nesting robin Very cute. Fav.

They are good at guarding too, and if you get too close they can get a little protective

Great shot, Bruni. Be careful after the eggs hatch. They are extremely protective of their young. I was lucky to have had a nest where I could monitor the family. Fav.
