Tuesday a week ago, Hans and I were on our way to The Upper Canada Mall in Newmarket. it was a rainy day and the traffic was very heavy as it usually is. we were the fourth car turning left. our front of the car was just turning while the rear of the car was still on the major road. the traffic light changed, there were cars coming towards us and all of a sudden all traffic stopped. the first of the four cars in front of us had stopped dead. a lady stepped out of the car and started stopping traffic.
in front of the mall is a huge man made pond full with geese and a bunch of these were crossing the road. the sign you see is facing the oncoming traffic, caution drivers to look out for geese. I know they cross the 4 lane road, but so far I haven't heard of any accidents (unless they don't get reported).
@allie912 Had to think there for a minute. right place at the wrong time, as I took the pictures the Saturday after and not at the spot where we turned in.
Great shots, Bruni. Nice collage. I've seen deer crossing signs, moose crossing signs, bear crossings signs but this is the first I've ever seen a Geese crossing sign. It made me chuckle.
