What've I got myself into now

This morning while I was watering my two pots of hanging begonias, I saw this little snail got herself into a peculiar situation. well of course I had to grab my camera and take a few pictures of it. wasn't too sure if I should grab it and pull it down. your suggestions please. it would be full of that gooey stuff, don't know if it's still alive or not.
I went back out again to rescue the snail, but to my surprise it was gone.
That is wild! How did it even get up there? What a mystery!

Great spot and capture. I must say it is a very strange position for a snail. Hope it didn't become bird feed.

INTERESTING CAPTURE.

That is odd- would have no idea how it got there! But knowing that the destroy plants I wouldn't be too keen on rescuing it- only if I could put it somewhere far away from the plants. I think gravity gave you a hand in the long-run. A spider web doesn't seem strong enough to hold the weight of the snail. Good shot!

@olivetreeann the two plants are handing on a stand where the snails can climb up and reach the pots. I often find snails in there and you're right, they do eat away on the leaves.

Ooh dear that does look a bit of a tricky situation. Don't think I've ever seen a snail in a spider's web before, an original shot.

@bruni I am so far behind on your health, Bruni. Been dealing with my own. Sometimes it is way too much to handle. How are you doing now? I cannot stay on too long this morning. I will get back to you and see how you are doing. Hugs to you my friend. I posted a photo this morning. No details just general info. Will catch up with you via email soon.
