Snow Day

We woke up to 20 inches of snow this morning. was I ever glad it didn't come down while I was driving home from the city yesterday afternoon. Since the hospital had to send Hans home again, they paid for the taxi ride. now of course Hans had to tackle the snow this morning.I would've just stayed put and let Mother Nature take care of it, hoping that by Wednesday morning, when I have a cardiologist appointment, the snow would've melted enough for me to get out of the driveway.

In the small picture on the right you can see how much snow has accumulated. when Hans finished our walk- and driveway, he went across the road to give a helping hand so the young neighbour (a teacher) to get his car out of the driveway.

What a lot of snow. We are expecting more rain starting tomorrow and continuing for a few days. They say 3" - 5" and snow in the mountains. Hoping we have a wet Spring. Love your photos and Hans does a great job and nice to help a neighbor too. Nothing keeps him down. FAV
