Another rainy day today but regardless I went out to take a picture in our side garden along the walkway.. these are lily of the valley plants. this fall I noticed a stalk with orange colored berries.I googled lily of the valley and this is what I found out on Wikipedia.
"The fruit is a small orange/red berry 5-7 mm diameter that contains a few large whitish to brownish seeds. see the picture on the right of my collage.
I have quite a few Lily of the Valley in my garden and always look forward to seeing them in the Spring. They do produce that pretty "berry". Nice shot!
Lily of the valley looks very pretty but they are also very posion. All of it.
