....down to the lake. it was so bitter cold and windy, not just my fingers were getting red from the cold, the camera actually froze and the lens wouldn't retract. I got a few picture and carried the camera home with the lens sticking out. it warmed up quickly and was ok. we were bundle up, but even heavy gloves couldn't keep our hands warm/
we had minus 12 and it was much colder with the wind blowing over the lake.
