Never a dull moment in our neighbor's back yard. I watched the one young men (sitting in the dune buggy) welding the roll bars the other day. looks like he picked up a chassis and some large tires. today a friend came to help him put the dune buggy together. the rain didn't seem to bother them. here you see the friend directing him how to get the buggy into the car shed.
We had two gorgeous warm days last Wednesday and Thursday and ever since the temperature has fallen by more than 20 degrees, it started out with thunder showers, continued with rain, wind and just plain miserable since Friday. hopefully Monday..our Victoria Day..will have some sunshine.
Dear Bruni. The answer is No. The bulbs has to grow further and made the start of a new flower. Maybe you can dig them up (with lots of soil) and replant them on an inconspicious place in the garden. The leaves has to stay untill it`s all finnish. Tulip lovers do dig them than,( +/- Oct./Nov.) inspect the bulbs on damages and illnesses . Remove the young onces and plant again. If you got to all those trouble you can have nice Tulips for several years. But after years they sure get worse and worse as they grow back to natural.
