Please bear with me. a day before my trip Hans surprised me with a tablet. he thought it would be easier to carry than a camera. I brought my pocket size camera anyway, but I forgot to bring the charger. to my sorrow there were only a few pictures left before the battery ran out and there were no instructions that came with the tablet. so it was trial and error. don't know why this picture is so green. I took it late at night. it shows one of the deserted pool areas. during the day and I don't know how long at night the life guards are on duty. I felt sorry for them standing there in rain, shine, wind and on top of it getting wet when the waves spill over. they also have the carry the life board, or what ever it's called, under their arm at all times. I think I've a better picture coming up later. Hans hasn't figured out yet how to copy a bunch of pictures from the tablet to my computer,...so far he can only send a single one at a time per email and that's time consuming.
Poor life guards. Were any of them cute? I would prefer taking photos with a camera rather than a tablet. Tablet's would be useful doing other things. Your narrative made me chuckle!
@darsphotos Grace took some pictures and videos, but is too busy at the moment and since it was the first time she used it for that, doesn't know yet how to get them to me. our trip had a purpose other than just pleasure. since she is so susceptible so smells, more so than I, her boyfriend told her to take her mother on a cruise while he and his buddy renovate the whole house. I won't go into details at the moment but roughly tell what the major renovation was. tear out the kitchen and have a new one installed. get rid of all the carpets and replace with engineered laminated wood. ceramic tiles in eat in kitchen. all new washroom cabinets incl. new faucets, new bathtub etc. the whole house was also newly painted and all this in 2 weeks. mind you she came home to a major clean up job.
@bruni I figures maybe that Grace took photos and how nice video too. She should be able to hook her camera up to her computer and once loaded send to you. I bet Hans can help her as well. I hope you get to see those soon.

Used to the warm temps after up to 110 here, so many days of hot weather is gone for now.

How wonderful to have her house renovated by her boyfriend and his buddy. That is so much to do in two weeks. At least she was not there while the work was going on and enjoying herself with you. Sounds like a huge undertaking. I hope the clean up is done now and they can enjoy the work that was done. Would save a lot of money doing it themselves. I hope you and Hans are doing well. Think of you both often. Another really nice day here as we cool in the mornings but will heat up to 97 later today.
