Hans and I took a brake from our renovation job. too much to do and so little time in a day. our house is way too big for the two of us. we're struggeling with redoing 14 rooms.the garden also needs tender-loving-case and has been a bit neglected.
we decided yesterday to take the afternoon off and go to a wine tasting tour at the Holland-Marsh-Winery, not too far away from home and as you see, we enjoyed ourselves.. Cheers!
Good for you! You are not alone as we have several friends who also feel their homes have become too large for them and hard to maintain. But it looks like you found a great place to unwind. Good shot!
Hard to think about it with such a lovely house, but your life would be enriched with a much smaller place! We did that and never regret it! Go wine tasting more often! Hey, great picture of you both!

but the market has dropped and there isn't much selling at the moment.
the tenant gave us notice and has moved out already. the whole apartment required a fresh coat of paint and I'm at the moment busy cleaning cupboards, fridge and a messy stove. it's also not easy to down size.
I've way too much stuff accumulated over the years and to go from a big house to a small condo requires to get rid of a lot of stuff incl. furniture. of well!
