A food bank garden at THE BEACHES in Toronto, Ontario.
While Grace and I were strolling towards the marina last Saturday,
we came across this unexspected garden up on top of a hill.
there were 6 food bank boxes (on some you can only see half of the sign) as well as a medicinal one and one especially for children.
I tried my best to place all of them as well as I could. when we first walked into this designated area, my daughter sat down on the rim of one of those boxes sand watched me taking pictures. she never got up or moved away, so I guess she didn't mind beingin the picture.
@maggiemae I don't think so. I'll google it and see if I can find some more about it. last year Grace and I walked in the opposite direction of the lake.
@maggiemae Couldn't find anything about the garden. tried Wikipedia, but no go. maybe next time we go there again, I ask some of the people who are employed there. now I'm curious too.
Great shots. Those like very much to the square meter garden who are populair in the city. 1 mtr2 to grow you own food on a balcony. The school nearby has this too.
