My dear sister passed away eight years ago and today would’ve been her nineties Birthday. I’m just so sorry I can’t bring a beautiful rose to her resting place in Arizona as my health prevents me from travelling at this moment but my thoughts are with her all the time and especially today.
As a little child I guess I was afraid of the dark and so at bed time our mom made my sister, Thea who was seven years older than I turn in with me and every night. we played a game where both of us could be a lovely flower, you see the window curtain in our bedroom was printed with beautiful flowers.
All I remember is that Thea always wanted to be the Queen of flowers, a rose and I had the choice of any of the rest of them.
So here is her beautiful rose.
