At the mouth of the canal

To the left we have a boat launch (not seen here) and a touch further a road. the backyard of the houses on this road face the canal where a boat can be kept for easy access to the lake.
"shore" of the canal enjoying some fishing. the park has a nice play area for kids and there're some picnic tables. I think barbecuing is allowed .

This place is only a few minutes drive from home or a nice walk along Lake Drive.
