The last tulips

There were so many people visiting Edwards Garden last Saturday. you had to stand in line to get close to where you intended to take a picture.
Most tulips were already loosing their pedals. I guess the time is pretty much over. these must've been planted deeper to come up later and therefore they're still in bloom.

Over the years, I've shared lots of pictures from Edwards Garden, but never told much about it's history. so here is what I found on google.
