A few years ago we transplanted this plant ( it was very small at the time) because it didn't get enough sun with our huge maple tree giving so much shade.
I think it's now three years later. it's on the sunny side (west) behind our house. now I would like to have it back in front, but Hans put his foot down and said NO, it stays where it is. I agreed with him though.
amazing colours
Reminds me of a vine I once gave to my sister, it belongs to the grape family but does not produce grapes, just foliage. Cannot remember the name
@carolmw Thank you so much, Carol for your comment and letting me know the name of this plant. I googled it and saw all the different varieties. beautiful.
@ninaganci@ludwigsdiana@grannysue I just received a comment from Carol @carolmw who identified my plant. it's a Heuchera. I googled it and this plant comes in a lot shapes and colours.
Heucherais a genus of evergreen, herbaceous perennial plants in the family Saxifragaceae, all native to North America !!!!. Common names include alumroot and coral bells. (No wonder I was wrong.)
