Look what I found - wasp nest

I saw it in our garden, brought it inside and took a picture of it. I had to be very careful as it's made of mud and it was all dried up. glad it didn't brake in two.

Today is Wednesday, my day for spending time with my daughter.
She loves walking and after a " kaffee klatsch " in our favorite Second Cup
somewhere in Toronto, we're off to one of the many parks.

It looks like a mud dauber or commonly known as dirt dauber nest. They are actually beneficial insects, they catch spiders and put them in the nests to feed their young. Glad it did not break open. It is amazing the structures these wasps can build.
