At our outing yesterday, we couldn't walk under the "tall trees" as we call the area bc it was too muddy from all the rain we had the night before and early that morning. no problem. we walked around the cricket field instead.
I took a lot of pictures again. mostly for the gorgeous autumn colors and then we came across this - I believe it's a hornets nest.
I guess you were lucky not to be attacked by hornets but it seems the nest has been abandoned a long time ago. Beautiful capture. Amazing how they can build an intricate nest like this.
