Dreary day by bruni

Dreary day

We visited five Christmas tree farms yesterday and all of them had signs out that they are either closed or closed for the season. we have two more to go to, but I suggested to Hans to call first.
I know we can buy some at grocery stores, but they only sell Balsam Firs and they aren't suitable to hold candle holders and our wax candles. We need to find a Spruce tree. So I guess we make another trip today.
So sorry Bruni, I know what you mean. Here in SA there are no trees that hold our candles neither! I had to buy an artificial one, now I have electric candles on it. Hope you find one.

Hope you will get your tree -- I have opted for artificial for some years now , but there is nothing like the fresh smell of pine in the house at Christmas !
